These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and the publisher of Bull Trading Journal (“we”, “us”, “the App”). By installing or using the App on Google Play, the Solana mobile app store, or any other authorized source, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the App and do not use it.
1. What the App is
Bull Trading Journal is a personal trading journal. You log tickets, setups, notes, grades, mood, plan-adherence, screenshots, account settings, and related statistics.
The App is not:
- a broker, exchange, wallet, or payment service
- investment advice, a signal service, or portfolio management
- a source of live market prices or executable orders
- a Solana wallet, dApp browser, or on-chain transaction tool
Any P&L, expectancy, win rate, R-multiple, position size, or similar figure is calculated from data you enter. Currency conversion, if used, may request public European Central Bank reference rates from a third-party API (currently Frankfurter). Those rates can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (usually 18). You may not use the App if you are barred from using Google Play, Solana dApp Store / Solana Mobile products, or from trading under applicable law.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the App on devices you own or control, for your own journaling.
You may not:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law
- remove trademarks, the bull mark, or copyright notices
- use the App to build a competing product from our code or assets
- scrape, overload, or abuse any network endpoint the App calls
- present the App as a broker, advisor, or official Solana / Google product
4. Your content and your device
Tickets, playbook rules, notes, screenshots, backups, and settings are your content. They are stored on your device unless you export or share them.
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy of entries
- keeping backups (JSON export / CSV share)
- not sharing backups that contain information you want to keep private
- any chart screenshot you attach, including third-party charting-app content
If you use Android’s share sheet, Files app, email, cloud drive, or a similar tool, that tool’s terms apply to the file after it leaves the App.
5. No professional advice
Nothing in the App is financial, tax, legal, or trading advice. Past journal results do not predict future results. You can lose money trading. Decisions you make after looking at the journal are yours alone.
Position sizing tools estimate size from your starting balance, risk percentage, entry, stop, and point value. They do not know live prices, margin, fees, or your broker’s rules.
6. Network features
The App may use the internet for:
- optional foreign-exchange reference rates
- opening a system share or browser intent you trigger
- OS-level connectivity checks
Journal records and screenshots are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal use. We do not operate a cloud sync account in version 1.0.
7. Stores and payments
Distribution, refunds, device compatibility, and store fees are governed by:
- Google Play Terms of Service and Payments Policy, and/or
- Solana Mobile / Solana dApp Store terms, Seeker device terms, and any Solana Pay or store billing terms that apply to that listing
If you paid through a store, refund requests go through that store, not through a broker relationship with us.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the App to commit fraud, market abuse, or any crime; to store illegal content; or to harm minors. Do not interfere with other users’ devices or with store infrastructure.
9. Intellectual property
The App, name “Bull Trading Journal”, visual design, and related marks belong to us or our licensors. Your trade notes remain yours.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that calculations, FX rates, backups, or exports will be error-free or available at any particular time.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST TRADES, LOST DATA, OR DEVICE FAILURE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR TEN EUROS (€10), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some countries do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the minimum the law requires. These Terms do not limit liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where the law forbids that limit.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your trading, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
13. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms. Continued use after an in-app or store notice of new Terms means you accept them, unless the law requires extra consent.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling deletes local App data according to Android, except copies you already exported.
We may stop distributing the App on a store without notice.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Lisbon, Portugal, have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring mandatory consumer claims in your country of residence if the law gives you that right.
